12+ month to go: If you have more than a year before your wedding, it’s the perfect time to pamper yourself with monthly facials to improve your skin. Talk to your esthetician about your home skincare routine. You can work together to find a skincare regimen that works for you and your skin type.
Six months to go: Talk with your esthetician to see if any tweaks need to be made to your skincare regimen. This is also the time for any advanced skin treatments you may be considering. You want plenty of time to heal from any more intense skin treatments. Depending on the season, you may want to do a peel during this time frame.
Two months to go: Continue your home regimen. Do a trial run with your makeup to see how your skin reacts. If you have any concerns or problems you want to address before the big day, let your esthetician know. This is the last month you should consider any treatments that may have some recovery time to look your best.
One month to go: Maintain! This is not the time to experiment with new products, either at home or with your esthetician. If there are any reactions, it could take weeks to calm down. No one needs that extra stress!
Two weeks to go: Make sure you’re taking care of yourself – eat well, drink plenty of water, and get some rest. Pamper yourself with a massage if you’re feeling stressed.
One week to go: Consider getting a DMK Enzyme or Signature Glow Up to give your skin a beautiful glow for your big day.
Wedding Day: Eat a healthy breakfast, get your hair and makeup done, and enjoy yourself. Everything should be in place to ensure that you look beautiful and have a wonderful time!
If you have less than 12 months to go before the wedding, it’s not too late to make some chances to your skincare and beauty routine. Schedule an appointment to discuss what will work best for you.
